TOPIC: Land use discussions for north of 34th Street - land directly across from the Elementary School - this is another extremely important meeting.
Please note, this meeting will start promptly at 6:30pm since we must leave the school by 8:30pm.

With and increase in new meeting attendees, Staff gave a brief summary of the Central West Austin Neighborhood Planning Process. Future land use discussions started with the remaining properties between West 34th Street and West 35th Street from Kerbey Lane to Jefferson Street. A majority of the stakeholders attending the meeting decided that maintaining the current office uses would best serve the neighborhood’s needs in the future. As such, this area will be designated as Office on the Future Land Use Map. With insufficient time remaining during the meeting, properties along the south side of 35th Street from Glenview to Mills Ave and properties on the north side of 34th Street from Kerbey Lane to Mills Ave were not discussed. Discussion of these remaining areas will continue at the next workshop, Monday, May 11th.
