(Austin, Texas) The Bryker Woods Neighborhood Association is proud to announce the 2009 Bryker Woods National Night Out Celebration. The generations of families that share this terrific central Austin neighborhood will be gathering to celebrate autumn under the beautiful live oak trees that line our streets. Children are encouraged to ride bikes, skates and scooters, and adults are welcome to BYOBeverages. All participants can enjoy complimentary pizza and hotdogs fresh off the grill. Generous neighborhood businesses have donated items to be awarded as special prizes to lucky attendees, and great music will top off a fun-filled evening.

The Austin Police Department, Austin Fire Department and EMS have been invited to exhibit their vehicles and demonstrate firsthand their vital importance to our city.
Bryker Woods is comprised of homes and small businesses included roughly within the parameters of West 35th Street, Shoal Creek, MoPac and Westover Road. Historic bridgesspan Shoal Creek connecting Bryker Woods to the University of Texas campus and Austin’s central business district. Bryker Woods also includes the small historical subdivision of Happy Hollow, once home to President Lyndon Johnson during his days at UT.
