New sidewalk down to the Shoal Creek Hike & Bike Trail

Access to the Shoal Creek Hike & Bike Trail is now more convenient. West of the creek at the 34th Street bridge the city has recently installed a sidewalk down to the trail. Prior the sidewalk was a rough and steep path down to the trail which made for hazardous conditions. Children and families walking to Bryker Woods Elementary from the Rosedale Neighborhood frequently use this path for avoiding traffic by crossing under 34th Street. The concrete sidewalk now makes the route much safe.
