Who Does What
At the first general meeting for the project, in December 2007, the entire neighborhood was divided into the areas listed below. The meeting attendees elected one or more residents to represent each of these areas. The representatives are charged with being advocates for everyone in their area.

The representatives are responsible for attending all the project meetings, communicating information to other residents in the neighborhood, seeking input from those residents, identifying traffic problems on residential streets, prioritizing problem locations, and participating in developing the neighborhood traffic calming plan. Ultimately, they own the traffic calming plan.
Greg Chico is the chairman of the group. He is charged managing the team, presenting information at the neighborhood association meetings, enduring that pros and cons of the proposed devices are fully considered prior to developing a neighborhood traffic calming plan, and resolving neighborhood issues.
The city staff is responsible for providing technical assistance, keeping records of key decisions, collecting and presenting traffic data, presenting the pros and cons of traffic calming devices, coordinating with other affected agencies (Fire, EMS, Capital Metro, etc.), conducting a field investigation to endure the proposed devices are feasible for implementation, sending the proposed traffic calming plan along with a ballot to all affected individuals in the neighborhood, and answering questions at the open house meeting.
